4th of July Camping!

For the 4th of July we planned MONTHS ago to go to Palisade. I think we booked it back in March to be able to get the spots we wanted and have everyone be next to us. We shared a double spot with Damon & Rashelle, Shain & Erin were on one side of us and Jeremy & Shelece were on the other side. Kelly and I got a wild hair and decided to go up a night early so we ended up leaving on Wed night after the traffic died down. Everyone else came up Thursday and we all went back Monday. It was so nice to be there for more than just two nights. We all had a really good time. The weather was beautiful and as always the food was Yummy! The kids were so cute, they all played so good together. We had two pools that we couldn't keep them out of. They rode their bikes and played in the water all weekend.

Ryan is so busy, he just takes off if he is not preoccupied with water or something else. It will be nice when he gets just a little bit older and wants to stick around. Soon enough he will be wanting to go and catch frogs or ride his bike all over like the other kids. We got away from the weekend with just one good owie, some how Hudini figured out how to open the tailgate from inside the back of the truck. Of course I couldn't get to him fast enough and he bounced on the tailgate then onto the pavement. Thank God he wasn't hurt, just a big scratch and bump on his forehead. It could have been so much worse. Thank goodness the tailgate has a lock on it. It will be locked forever! He likes to play back there and so do the other kids. It gives us a break from chasing him for a few minutes until he wants down of course! He started a new thing this weekend, he is interested in watching movie's. He even says it now and when you ask him if he wants to watch a movie he shakes his head yes and says YES! Moovee is how he says it! So Cute!
