It's hard to believe that just a year ago we were still in the hospital waiting to bring our little man home. We spent Thanksgiving and his first birthday with our families in St. George. The Grandmas spoiled and spoiled ohhh and did I say spoiled him. He has my mom and Kelly's mom wrapped around his little finger. It is so fun and cute to see them play with him and get to spend time with him. My sister's girls Taylor and Jade think Ryan is the greatest. They had so much fun playing with him and entertaining him all weekend. He just laughs and smiles at them. He loves to play with kids. Thanksgiving was really yummy. Kelly's mom is such a good cook. Ryan was ready for a nap by the time we ate so he had some veggies and that was about it. He wasn't too sure about the texture of the Turkey. We went to my mom's for dessert. Ryan tried some of Pumpkin cake that my sister made. He thought that was pretty good stuff. His birthday party was alot of fun. Everyone came over to enjoy it with us. Grandma Jean, Grandpa Dennis, Nana Vickie, Aunt Mary, Aunt Manda, Mike, Taylor, Jade and Jovie. We had pizza, salad and cake. Ryan wasn't shy with his cake AT ALL. He had so much fun playing in it and eating it. He was pretty much overwhelmed with all of his presents. We tried to get him to open everything but he didn't understand how come he couldn't play with what he had just opened. Ryan was so tired from the weekend he slept from St. George to Nephi on the way home. He was so happy to be home he ran all over the house for an hour. And yes.....He was pretty much running. He doesn't do much crawling these days. He has the whole walking thing completely figured out. We had to get him some shoes over the weekend so he can get used to walking in them. My mom found some shoes that squeak when he walks. They are so cute and he thinks they are pretty fun. Kelly unloaded the truck last night and it looks like Ryan will be quite busy for days playing with all of his new toys. Kelly and I have so much to be thankful for this year. It was so nice to be able to spend time with all of our family over the holiday. We missed my Dad and his family, they are way too far away. Hopefully we will get to see them soon. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
